Tickets

Some 2.6 million tickets have been put on sale for the 10th Men's Rugby World Cup. Official sales ran from spring 2021 to September 2022.

The official resale platform opened in January 2023. Resold tickets are available for purchase in a maximum of 6 tickets per buyer.

Traffic during the World Cup

Traffic restrictions apply in Toulouse in the areas affected by the Rugby World Cup 2023:

  • In the vicinity of the Stadium and the Fan Walk during the 5 match days in Toulouse
  • In the vicinity of the Rugby Village during the 20 days it is open

A specific traffic plan will be applied on the days concerned:

  • Several streets will be made one-way, or closed to traffic altogether.
  • Access to the streets concerned is controlled: access is forbidden except for residents, on presentation of proof of residence (electricity bill, telephone bill, etc.).

The perimeter of the Stadium is closed, except for match spectators, from the junction of the Île du Ramier with the Pont Saint-Michel to the southern enclosure of the Stadium.

Traffic and parking in Toulouse: what you need to know

Public transport

The Toulouse metropolitan area (Toulouse, its Metropolis and certain surrounding towns) is served by a rich and diversified public transport offer. This service is managed by Tisséo. 

The different modes of transport

The public transport network comprises : 

  • Two metro lines (line A and line B) 
  • A tramway line (line T1) 
  • Around a hundred bus lines (including ten Linéo high-service bus lines) 
  • Five shuttle buses (including the Airport and Stadium shuttles) 
  • An urban cable car (Téléo)

Getting around by bike

Several tools are available to help cyclists prepare their itinerary: 

On-street 

Main shopping, service and downtown areas: 9,663 parking spaces in Toulouse (11,963 in Toulouse Métropole).

In Tisséo car parks

Nearly 600 spaces are available in secure shelters in bike parks directly connected to the Tisséo network (metro, tramway, bus and cable car). Service reserved for Tisséo subscribers holding a Pastel card.

The station's bike park (open from 5.30 a.m. to 11.30 p.m.) offers 678 secure, guarded and CCTV-monitored spaces. under video surveillance. It is divided into 2 areas: 600 spaces reserved for TER subscribers, 78 spaces for non-subscribers.

Get around while polluting less

The Ecomode mobile application offers its users, based on the itinerary they have entered, less-polluting alternatives to the car (carpooling, cycling, public transport in the Toulouse area. It also calculates the amount of CO2 saved for each journey, as well as the carbon emissions of each trip, and rewards the most virtuous users through a loyalty program.

Low Emission Zone (LEZ)

Since March 1, 2022, in order to fight air pollution, a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) is gradually being introduced over a large part of Toulouse (inside the ring road) and a small part of Colomiers and Tournefeuille. 

All motorized vehicles (cars, two-wheelers, commercial vehicles and heavy goods vehicles) carrying Crit'air 4 and 5 stickers, or those not classified as such, are prohibited, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Owners of Crit'air 4, 5 and non-classified vehicles can apply for the ZFE Pass, which allows occasional driving and parking for 52 days a year. 

The Crit'air sticker is mandatory for all vehicles, you can get a fine if you don't have one. It must be asked on the government website.

Numerous public parking lots are available for car drivers. They are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In park-and-ride facilities (P+R)

A number of park-and-ride facilities, managed by Tisséo, are also located near metro, bus and tramway stations. Accessible 24/7, they offer nearly 7,000  parking spaces.
