The Toulouse Stadium
Presentation
Located on the Ile du Ramier in the heart of Toulouse, the Stadium has a 33 150 seats.
It will host 5 group matches of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, between Sunday September 10 and Sunday, October 8.
Spectators can benefit from Wifi, which will be permanently deployed for the competition.
Get to The Stadium
In view of the very large number of visitors expected, we advise you to use public transport, bicycle or to walk in order to reach the Stadium.
By tramway :
- T1 line - Croix de Pierre stop
By bus :
- Linéo 4 and 5 - Stadium Est stop
- Linéo 4 and 5 - Stadium Ouest stop
Other means of transport (metro lines A and B, other buses or cable cars) connect with these lines.
Tisséo has set up a special free shuttle service to take the spectators of the 5 games from the temporary Zenith parking lot to the Stadium.
Each shuttle will carry around 100 passengers.
They run from 3 hours before to 2 hours after the match, with a break during the match.
Route details:
- Departure from the Zenith: the shuttles line up on avenue Raymond Badiou,
- and pick up fans, who are invited to board the shuttle that's furthest ahead.
- Intermediate stop at Arènes station to pick up new passengers
- Drop-off (before the match) of spectators at the Croix-de-Pierre bus stop (avenue Déodat de Séverac)
- Boarding (after the match) of the fans at the same bus stop
- Intermediate stop at Arènes station to allow some passengers to disembark
- Final drop-off at Zénith
The Stadium is accessible by bike, and can be reached from all over Toulouse via numerous cycle paths, cycle lanes and green network trails.
Two free, guarded bicycle parking facilities are available close to the Stadium:
- Nakache swimming pool parking lot: capacity 1,000 spaces
- Near the Poudrerie footbridge (chemin de la Loge): capacity 300 spaces
They can accommodate bicycles, electric bikes, cargo bikes, scooters...
They open to the public 2 hours before the start of matches.
The temporary Zenith park-and-ride facility
A temporary 2,000-space park-and-ride facility has been set up at the Zenith (4 km from the Stadium) for spectators attending the 5 games.
It offers a direct connection with the T1 tramway line, as well as a free shuttle bus to the Stadium.
Park-and-ride facilities
We also strongly advise you to park your vehicle in one of the park-and-ride facilities located on the outskirts of Toulouse or in the city center. They are directly connected to metro, tramway and bus lines.
Managed by Tisséo, they are accessible 24/7.

Dedicated parking facilities are available on the Ile du Ramier for the following transportation :
- Motorized two-wheelers
- Ticket holders with PMR/PSH parking space
- VIP ticket holders with parking space

The Rugby Village
Presentation
The Toulouse Metropolis Rugby Village is one of the must-see sites of the competition.
Set up on the Prairie des Filtres, access is free of charge.
It opens its doors on Friday, September 8, for the first day of the competition. It offers a great number of activities as well as live broadcasts of matches.
It is open on match in Toulouse, on French team match days, and on weekends.
It can accommodate up to 40,000 people.

Entertainment
The Rugby Village offers spectators an immersive environment in which to experience pre-games and fixtures in a different way.
A variety of activities are offered in several distinct areas:
- Entertainment and partners zone: inflatable games for children, inflatable rugby pitch, beach rugby matches, DJs, fan cams, karaoke and blind tests...
- Relaxation zone and food court: the place to eat from a foodtruck or to relax on a deckchair.
- Arena zone: this is where matches are shown on two giant screens.

Practical information
The Rugby Village opens its doors between two to four hours (with some exceptions) before the start of the first game of the day broadcast on site.
First week of the competition :

The entire site is accessible to the disabled.
A platform with an access ramp has also been installed for people with reduced mobility in the Arena area, where matches are broadcast.
As part of the French Vigipirate plan, the Rugby Village is subject to reinforced security measures.
Checkpoints for bag checks and/or body palpations have been set up.
For security reasons, the organization reserves the right to temporarily close off the access.

The Fan Embassy
The Fan Embassy is an information center dedicated to the hosting of the Rugby World Cup 2023 in Toulouse, as well as a venue for various events.
Open from June 29 until the end of the competition, it welcomes Toulousans, fans and tourists 7 days a week, from 10am to 6pm.
It is located on rue Lafayette, in Toulouse's hypercentre, just at the exit of the Capitole metro station (line A). Located on the Fan Walk route, the Fan Embassy can be reached on foot from the Toulouse Matabiau train station (11-minute walk).
Every day, the Fan Embassy offers a range of events organized by municipal and metropolitan departments as well as a number of cultural venues (Musée Saint-Raymond, Musée du Vieux-Toulouse, Muséum de Toulouse, libraries...).
The Fan Walk
Presentation
It is a fan itinerary linking the Toulouse Matabiau train station to the Stadium.
The Fan Walk crosses the city center, and passes through the main competition venues that are the Fan Embassy, Square Charles de Gaulle, and the Rugby Village on the Prairie des Filtres. It also allows visitors to discover the historic center of Toulouse.

Animations
Jerseys from the clubs that trained the French team players are on display in the shop windows along the Fan Walk route.
On match days in Toulouse, Fan Walks with strolling entertainment are organized along the along the Fan Walk, from Toulouse Matabiau station to the Stadium.
On the agenda for these festive, colorful and musical parades are: street shows, brass bands, bandas, batucadas...
On Saturday, September 16, in order to coincide with the World Clean Up Day, a "Green Walk" is also being organized on the same route. the same route, to collect garbage and cigarette butts.
The Ernest Wallon Stadium
Toulouse is the base camp of the Japanese national team for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
The Stade Toulousain putts its training pitches and gym at the disposal of the Japanese players at Ernest Wallon. They can also train at the Lalande gymnasium and the Chapou swimming pool, provided by Toulouse Town Hall.
The Japanese players will be playing two games in Toulouse, at the Stadium, on September 10 and 28, 2023. They also played there the France-Japan prepratory game on November 20, 2022.
